Jazz at the Manor, Arreton Manor, Newport. 12 noon - 5pm. The Unity Stompers, Castle Jazz Band, and Phoenix Jazz. Bar, BBQ and Tea Rooms Open. Bring a chair, no picnics. Thursday 4th September to Sunday 7th September

Brighstone Flower Festival at St Mary's Church, Brighstone. Theme 'All things Bright and Beautiful.' Display can be viwed from 10am to 9pm each day, except Sunday open from 12noon - 6.30pm after which a service of songs of praise will be held. No entry fee but donations to St Mary's Church and EMH.

Saturday 13th September

50's, 60's and 70's night at the Riverside Centre, Newport, 7pm till midnight. With live band Kommotion, tickets £6 each from Riverside Centre.

Sunday 14th September

International Classic Car Show, Ryde Canoe Lake, 10am-4pm.

Friday 19th September

Fun Music Quiz at Newport Football Club, 7.30pm, £10 team of 4 people. With raffle and winning prize.

Sunday 21st September
Barton Manor Open Day, East Cowes 10am-4pm. Fashion & Beauty & Hospice Open Day.

Sunday 28th September
Classic Car Run for the Hospice across the Island. Start 10am at Cowes Parade, £10 per car, buffet lunch at the Needles Park £5.50 per person. Ring 528989 for an entry form and for the special 'Hospice Offer' on the Red Funnel car ferry if you want to take part with your vintage or classic car from the mainland.

Monday 29th September

IOW Council Chairmans Charity Fashion Show at Seaview House, Seaview. Featuring dresses from Posh Frocks of Cowes, Osbornes the Tailors, complementary therapy, nails, and makeup. 11.30am tickets £17.50 each to include a free glass of wine and buffet lunch. Tickets from Julia Downer on 823145. Raising money for EMH and Haylands Farm.
